Loaded Performance and Acceptance

The listed heating and cooling rates are nonlinear, no-load averages. Specify specimen and fixture mass, powered heat dissipation, sensor locations and the required profile for each cabinet. Agree loaded acceptance criteria for one-cabinet operation and simultaneous operation, including the required setpoints, dwell times, logging and recovery conditions.

Application

A double-deck format provides upper and lower test cabinets for temperature testing of products and components. The original listing gives a −40°C to +150°C range. Confirm whether the quoted configuration supports independent controls, separate profiles and simultaneous operation with the specified loads.
For battery charge-discharge testing, confirm the cycler interface, battery type and energy, enclosure protection, exhaust, and emergency response configuration in the project specification.

Features and Configuration

  • Programmable temperature control, heating, refrigeration and forced circulation as specified for the ordered configuration.
  • Confirm separate setpoints, logging and the simultaneous operating envelope for the two cabinets, including powered specimen heat loads.
  • Request documented specimen protection, exhaust and fault-response provisions for the project. Confirm any required explosion-protection rating for the supplied configuration.

Test Method Selection

Define the governing standard edition, procedure, specimen operating state, temperature, dwell time and measurement locations in the RFQ and acceptance plan.

The IEC 2025 editions replace the corresponding 2007 editions. Identify an older edition explicitly when it is required by the contract. Specify temperature-change procedures separately. For GB, GJB or battery qualification projects, provide the exact edition and procedure so the quoted chamber capability and specimen protection can be reviewed.

Installation and Operating Scope

Use the supplied equipment manual and approved site procedures for installation, operation and maintenance. Have qualified personnel confirm protective earthing, electrical connections, specimen power interfaces, cabinet positioning, access and maintenance responsibilities. Agree guarding, protection, fault response and energy-isolation procedures for the supplied configuration before commissioning.

Confirm the approved specimen types, loading arrangement, powered heat input and operating limits. Discuss humidity requirements separately when the project needs temperature and humidity testing.
